up")).
In 1993 Thomas Anders released the album "When Will I See You Again" with the song "Marathon Of Life" on it. This song became the part of the Stockholm Marathon's
soundtrack.
The genre of the film is detective, from the series of common films about the commissar Beck, Gosta Ekman is playing his role. But it is not the most interesting! The most challenging fact is that Thomas himself performed one of the main roles - a pop-star, named Ypsilon (the name of the first letter of this word), who decided to take part in the charitable marathon. However, somebody attempts upon his life, commissar Beck knows about it, but is it easy to find the killer in the 10 000 people large
crowd?…
Further there are adduced some remarkable sequences from the film and a short its
review.
The
mentally disabled girl, who was made filming in the porno film 10 years ago, when she was a little girl (exactly since that time she got out of her mind), where the second star was Ypsilon, constantly dreamed to commit suicide. Finally she ventured to it. So, she walks along the roof of that glass hothouse and suddenly her leg falls through, as the glass can't stand her weight. The girl takes out the injured leg and persistently goes further and the bloody tracks are stretching after her. Then the glass brakes beneath her and the poor girl falls
downward.
At that time the car stops at the hothouse and a young man comes out of it, later it will be clear, that this is her husband. He realizes the situation, notices the wife, going along the roof and becomes the witness of her collapse. He rushes into the hothouse, calls his wife by name. Her name was
Sonja.
A terrible picture appears before his eyes… Sonja is dead. At her death place he finds a newspaper which Sonja was reading before she died. There he sees the picture of Ypsilon (t.i. Thomas) and the title about the forthcoming marathon. In the future this periodical will be hardly the only evidence… Husband understands the reason of Sonja's death and decides to kill the pop
star.
At that time Ypsilon is giving journalist the interview. After the talk he goes to the cafe where the policemen come at him and ask to go for the interrogation, thus keeping time before the assumed
crime.
The marathon begins. Thomas runs under the number 3729. Sonja's husband makes the first shot… The policeman (number 4220) knocks Ypsilon from his feet… The guardians run up and established the death of the heart
strike.
The policemen compute the attempting, Sonja's husband. They find and surround him; he is hiding in the small trailer for selling and delivering flowers. While the policemen force him to leave the trailer he takes the gun, puts the muzzle into the mouth and pulls the trigger. One more suicide. That's the end!
