Our site was opened on the 1st of April 2001. Though due to some technical problems the first information appeared only on the 15th of May of the same year.
For now the summary daily number of visitors of the site www.moderntalking.ru is about 700 individual visits a day (defined by SpyLOG system accordingly to the IP address of each visitor).
The Russian version of the site of course is fuller than the English one, which was opened on the 8th of February 2002, since being in RU zone our main task is informing the Russian speaking visitors of the Internet about the events taking place in the group's life.
The Russian version contains the following sections that were not included in the English version of it:
- FAN CLUB - the story about the development of the Fan Movement in Russia and other countries of the former USSR, the stories about the Russian groups singing in the style close to Modern Talking, the stories about the parties taking place on the whole territory of Russia and devoted to the art of Modern Talking. The great part of this section consists of the memories of the fans after the concerts and visits of the group in different years.
- LIBRARY - the section of the site where there is gathered the unique collection of the publications about the group from Russian (Soviet) press.
- SHOP - the section of the site made with the support of the Russian BMG company. Here we suggest our Russian visitors to get various recordings of the group and its participants issued by BMG Russia.
Now we are doing as much as possible to make the information from some other sections to correspond to the information available on the Russian version and make English version to be more identical in its content to the Russian one.
